Cardiology payment posting is where underpayments hide. We don't just key in each remittance. We match every line to the contracted rate for that study.

Electronic remittances and paper EOBs get posted line by line as they arrive. Each adjustment gets its reason code, so a write-off and a denial never look the same. Interest, takebacks and offsets get posted too, so the books match the bank.
A zero-pay line is a denial. It goes to the denial queue instead of being posted and forgotten.
We load each payer's fee schedule for the studies you do and compare every payment to it. A plan paying 70 cents on the contracted dollar for a year never shows on an aging report, because the claim looks paid.
Imaging is where it happens most. Same-day reductions get miscalculated, or the plan pays the read but not the technical side.
Underpayments get appealed with the contract page attached. See vascular study billing for a common case.

A claim with no response after 30 days gets a status check with the payer. A claim the payer says it never got is resent that day. Every claim ends paid at the contracted rate, overturned on appeal, or explained in writing on your report.
A/R over 90 days does not get written off to make the report look better. It gets worked by filing deadline first, then by balance. Days in A/R is on the monthly report.
Statements go out after the plan has paid, in plain words. A patient who asks for a payment plan gets one, under your policy.
Your patients are cardiac patients, and some of them are anxious about the bill. The statement reads like it came from your office.
We review them by study and by payer, free, with no strings.
