Most billing companies can submit a claim. The money is lost afterward: a missed component on an echo, a denial that sits untouched, an underpaid monitor, an aging balance nobody owns, or a payer pattern hidden inside a generic monthly report.

Only Cardiology Billing is built around those details. We review your recent billing performance by study and payer, identify the revenue leaks, and give you a clear picture of what needs to be fixed before you decide whether to switch.

07Questions about switching

Considering a change in billing companies?

How does the transition work?

We create a written 60-day plan around your current contract’s exit date, then set up system access and introduce your dedicated biller.

Will claims be interrupted?

The handoff is planned around your current biller’s exit date so new claims keep moving from day one.

Who handles old A/R?

Your current biller keeps claims already sent until your exit date, unless your contract allows us to take them sooner. We track open claims and work what remains as allowed.

What data do you need?

For the free review, we need 90 days of remittances and a charge report. To transition, we also need access to your EHR, practice management system, clearinghouse, and payer portals.

Do you work with our existing EHR or practice management system?

Yes. We work in the systems you already use, so you do not need to change EHRs.

Are HIPAA and BAA requirements covered?

We sign a BAA before patient data is shared. For the free review, we provide a secure upload link for your files.

What happens to unresolved denials during transition?

We track open claims and work any left open once your contract allows us to take them on.

Can we start with an audit before changing vendors?

Yes. Start with the free 90-day billing review, which compares remittances and charges by study and payer. There is no obligation to switch.
